KY1850HT-180K is a canning-friendly ceramic fiber non-intumescent mat developed by KY-Mat, utilizing high-grade domestic engineered refractory ceramic fibers. The streamlined formulation comprises solely fibers and organic binders—no vermiculite or other expandable materials. Compared to KY1850HT, its higher bulk density delivers reduced fresh thickness and higher strength at equivalent areal densities.
KY1850HT-180K offers broad applicability across passenger vehicles, light- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, and non-road mobile machinery after-treatment systems. Compatible with thick-wall, thin-wall, and ultra-thin-wall substrates in TWC, GPF, DOC, DPF, SCR, ASC, and POC applications.
