Appearance
KY100MEU is an environmentally friendly classic intumescent mat with relatively high expansion capability. REACH-compliant and primarily targeting the EU market, it utilizes engineered-grade AES (alkaline earth silicate) fiber as the structural backbone, ~50% vermiculite as the expandable component, and ~8% organic binder for green strength.
Operating temperature: Ambient to 750°C.
Suitable for exhaust after-treatment systems with standard substrates, typically used in underfloor TWC applications. May also be used in DOC/DPF/SCR/ASC when canning processes include pre-expansion procedures.
Product forms: Roll stock, double-sided tape laminated, and other configurations.
Areal density: 2,350 g/m²
Available roll dimensions: 15,000 × 300 / 15,000 × 350 / 15,000 × 380 mm. Thickness: 5.0 mm
