KY7000NC is an environmentally friendly bio-soluble micro-intumescent mat, serving as the eco-compliant counterpart to KY860. REACH-compliant and primarily targeting the EU market, it utilizes engineered-grade AES (alkaline earth silicate) fiber as the structural backbone, ~30% vermiculite as the expandable component, and ~6% organic binder for green strength.
Operating temperature: Ambient to 750°C.
Widely used in commercial vehicles including light-duty diesel, heavy-duty diesel, and non-road mobile machinery after-treatment systems. Accommodates both standard-wall and thin-wall substrates, compatible with hard stuffing, soft stuffing, and GBD-Control canning processes.
Suitable for: DOC/DPF/SCR/POC with standard canning gaps of 3.5–6.5 mm
